Dental Care at Kingston West Dental Centre during COVID-19
We are taking extensive precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff that we have outlined below.
First, we are fully compliant with infection control procedures set by the RCDSO, the CDHO as well as health regulations set by the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario.
We have also changed our appointment procedures and taken other safety measures to provide a safe dental appointment. These include;
Patients will be required to complete the COVID-19 screening questions within 2 days before an appointment. Please provide us with the results following completion of your screening you can simply email, text or call the clinic and indicate if the screening results were negative or positive.
Magazines, children’s toys, and other items that are difficult to disinfect will be removed from waiting areas.
Common areas including restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn by all clinical and administrative staff.
During treatment, our team will strictly follow guidelines set by Public Health, the RCDSO and the CDHO.
In addition to the procedures above, we have prepared a (COVID-19 Patient Visit Guide) providing additional details that can be viewed prior to your appointment that outline the new Patient visit protocols and procedures to be followed for all in-office appointments.
